Goal: Education – Provide unclaimed property educational resources

Objectives:

• Plan comprehensive education annually through coordinated delivery methods
• Conduct an annual conference with best-in-class educational opportunities
• Provide professional development opportunities
• Identify and meet education needs in a timely manner
• Host a speaker registry for internal and external use

Goal: Advocacy – Advocate for consumer and compliance friendly laws, regulations and administrative guidance

• Monitor and consider potentially impactful state and jurisdictional actions
• Identify membership concerns
• Respond to significant issues
• Promote grass roots advocacy within membership
• Build relationships with external stakeholder groups

Goal: State and Other Jurisdictional Relations - Expand constructive relationships with reporting jurisdictions

• Encourage jurisdictional cooperation with UPPO
• Identify opportunities to enhance mutual trust
• Promote fair and uniform unclaimed property laws
