UPPO and NAUPA Team up for IRA Webinar Series

Individual Retirement Arrangements have become more complicated for unclaimed property holders and state administrators as a result of the SECURES Act and CARES Act. The Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization and National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators have teamed up to help unclaimed property professionals and state administrators sort through the confusion with a three-part webinar series.

On Jan. 27, 2021, IRAs 101 will highlight IRA basics, examining: traditional vs. Roth; how IRAs differ from other unclaimed property types; tax and accounting impacts; types of state triggers; rules on RMDs; and issues resulting from recent law changes and IRS rulings.
