Seeking UPPO Board Candidates to Fill Vacancy

UPPO's Board of Directors is seeking nominations for an open Director at Large position. A recently announced member company structural change necessitated the resignation of a board member in accordance with the UPPO bylaws, which prohibit multiple board members from one company.

The Board of Directors is seeking candidates to fill the remainder of the 2020/21 term, ending April 30, 2021. To nominate yourself or someone for the position, please submit your interest through this form by Sept. 2, 2020, at 5 p.m. EDT. Website login is required to complete the form.  

Qualified board candidates must:

• Be an eligible Authorized Representative or Associate of a Member in good standing;
• Have served on a UPPO Committee or established work group; and
• Have attended at least two annual meetings during fiscal years 2019, 2018 and 2017.

The board will review a slate of qualified nominees and appoint the new board member. The person appointed to fill this vacancy may run in this fall’s election as the incumbent for a full three-year term that would begin May 1, 2021.
