UPPO comments on Tennessee RUUPA bills

The Tennessee RUUPA bills (H.B. 420 & S.B. 371) were introduced in February, and saw its most recent action of being placed behind budget after receiving a brief House subcommittee hearing on April 12. While it awaits further action from the subcommittee, UPPO submitted comments to articulate the changes Tennessee should consider to improve the clarity and fairness of the bills.

On page 2 of the letters, in the section on "Sections 66-29-103 – Foreign owned property", reference is made to L.B. 141 which is Nebraska legislation.
